About Me
Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Lindsay and I provide Solution Focused Psychotherapy for a range of issues / areas (see How I can help page).
I discovered this type of therapy when I was looking for something for myself to help with anxiety. I had started to feel out of control of my life and my thoughts and I knew I needed something to help me feel like my life was back on track, and that I was in control again. I was searching for something that I really felt I could relate to and that's when I came across Psychotherapy. I related to the idea of looking forward and focussing on my future, and using deep relaxation techniques, as mindfulness and meditation have always been part of my life. I booked my first session and it was a huge turning point for me. It helped me in more ways than I can describe, and made me see that I had the strength within me to make the positive change I needed. I still use all the things I learnt on a daily basis.
After everything it did for me, I decided that I would like to help other people achieve change in their lives, so I applied for and gained my Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy through the Clifton Practice in 2020.
I firmly believe that we all have the strength and skills within us to make the changes we need and create the future we want. My aim is to work with you to help you feel relaxed and positive about your future, help you to understand the influence your mind and thoughts have over your life and emotions, and how you can create the solutions you need to make your life better.
